Treaty 7 includes the traditional territories and oral practices of the Blackfoot Nations, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani and the Kainai. Treaty 7 also includes the Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda First Nations, and the Métis Nation, and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.


Pamela Ambrozy

Pamela Ambrozy is a teacher and writer based in Treaty 7 territory. Her English MA capstone project reimagined pedagogical approaches to Shakespeare by merging the physical and participatory nature of early modern theatre-going with the modern-day classroom. In her current projects, Pamela is interested in utilizing multiple voices and perspectives to recenter women’s stories in historical narratives.
